Frelle fan Lutke Peinjum

Pure bred Friesian Mare sired by the legendary Nanno 372, imported from the Netherlands in 2006 by Natalie Hardman.  Frelle is the foundation mare of our stud and consistantly produces outstanding foals.  She stands at 16.0hh and is of modern build.

She has been presented at the Keuring in the Netherlands as a 3 year old and awarded Ster status, which is the top grading of a friesian, she also has produced a filly by Sape who has also gone onto be awarded Ster.  Frelle has just been started again under saddle and has been competing in the Friesian show arena this year.  She has won Champion or Reserve Champion in every led and ridden class that she has competed in, including Supreme Friesian Exhibit at the Geelong Royal in the 2010 season prior to having a filly in 2011.

Frelle won Champion Led Friesian and Supreme Friesian Exhibit at the Melbourne Royal Show 2011.  She also was named in the Top 4 Horses in the Best of Breeds Championship at the Melbourne Royal, a first for a Friesian horse in Australia.

Frelle has been put back in the show ring in the 2013 season for another fabulous year. She has won many Champion ribbons both led and ridden and has just been named Hi point winner for Australia by the Friesian Society for Show Mare under saddle.
